Our flower garden 🌸 🌹
Flower gardening can be overwhelming. There are so many plants to choose from and so many different ways to combine them to tell a story of who you are. You know the saying Rome wasn’t built in a day, well gardens sure aren’t either. It’s important to start small and don’t worry about making mistakes. Each year you can move, pull out or dig up what didn’t work. I have done this so many times, but the best part of It is you can always celebrate yourself and embrace what you did well. Eventually you will find a garden style that you love and makes you happy and you discover what exactly that is can be unexpected pleasure.
Choosing the right location is important. Most flowers do really well in partial sun, and you don’t want your flowers in a place that impedes other plants in your yard.
Its always best to start small. Taking on a large garden plot can be overwhelming. You can always go back and make it bigger as you go along.
If space is an issue, you can always start a container garden on any scale.
Gardening should be fun, relaxing and peaceful, so ease into it.
Here are a few pictures of some of the flowers I planted. Most of these are annuals that I love to plant every year. They seem do really well and I never have any issues with them. I also like to change my containers each year, giving the space a fresh new look.
